The Akubra Snowy River Fur Felt Australian Western Hat is more than just a hat - it's an Australian icon. It's an awesome hat....nicest one I've ever owned thus far. You can really feel and see the quality craftsmanship. Looks great and wears great. Would definitely order another one from Village Hat Shop!
I have other Akubra hats. The snowy river is my least favorite. The crown touches the top of the head, it shouldn't. It took a while to size it, but that settled. However, it is looks well wearing it, I would recommend it, you may see it differently.
Village Hat co was as usual prompt in getting it into the mail, so it quickly.
This is a high quality felt had with a great lining. Runs just a little large on me, but nothing I can't adjust with a little padding in the sweatband. My grandsons and neighbors think it looks good too.
