Please Note: The larger the hat size, the less space will remain for the brim. Hats larger than 7 3/8 (L) will have less brim space; these will still fit but the brim might need to be curled up a bit. You might consider the Western Hat Can for larger hat sizes and/or wider brims.

Your hat sits upon the inner hat rest that can be adjusted to fit any hat size via the wing-nuts on the bottom of the case. The hat then floats on the rest and the brim is safe from damage. Works well has an airline carry-on

Purchased the carrier for a valuable top hat. It's a rather large size but it fits nicely inside. Note that the carrier will not stand up to being checked in the hold of an aircraft -- the plastic is too thin for that -- but it fits both in an overhead bin and underneath the seat of an Embraer 175 so you can take it as a carry-on if you want to fly.
