Note from the manufacturer regarding apparent discrepancies in the diameter of the beret: We have measured several styles from stock and most are coming in at 10 ½ inches, although a few are measuring 10 or 10 ¼ inches. All the hats are blocked to 10 ½ inches but different dyestuffs may saturate the yarns a bit differently, causing some compacting. If the customer simply stretches the hat by hand, they will have give. If steamed or wet, they will stretch even further. Any knitted garments will have this variance when you are dealing with natural yarns that are being dyed.

I have been looking for a long time for a cotton beret like this. It is just what I wanted, comes in a variety of colors, and is pleasantly soft. I appreciate that it comes in two different sizes.

This beret has a flaw and a large jagged seam is on the outside of the beret

This beret has a flaw and a large jagged seam is on the outside of the beret. I returned it and said if all of the pink look like this, please send a black beret. I received the same or just another of the lot of flawed pink beret. I give up! I will donate this to our local thrift store.
