Beautiful Hat. Well crafted.

I ordered one and I was picky about the pattern and they were nice enough send me another one. Unfortunately, I lost it on a recent trip to Africa, but I loved it enough that I'm going to have to buy a new ones. 😂

I have a Stetson that's almost the exact same design, and I will say this one is noticeably higher quality. The straw just seems more subtle and the color is more rich, the weaving is also tighter.

Also, it's hard to find a hat that fits my relatively smaller head, and the Small size is perfect.

Stetson’s Open Road is already a classic, the same low cattleman crown and 2 3/4" snap brim presidents and working men have worn for decades. The USA 250th edition takes that shape and does it right: 6X fur felt, handmade in Texas, leather sweatband, grosgrain band, red-white-and-blue satin liner, and that gold branding-iron pin with the inset stones. I just love this hat! Bought it in size large, and it fits perfectly. [I typically wear a 7-3/8.] The pattern placement is great! It's well-made and unique.

I needed a summer fedora, and I had been looking at this hat for some time. I was not disappointed. Much lighter than my felt toppers. I normally wear a 7-3/8 and ordered a 7-1/4. The hat arrived undamaged and tried it on. A bit loose but I added hat sizing tape for a better fit. I would recommend it but with the proviso you order a size down (have some sizing tape on hand).

This is an awesome crushable hat. Unfortunately it does run small in size.
If you wear a medium, at least order a large, maybe a xl.
If I can't stretch it. My grandson will get a nice hat and I'll wait til largest are back in stock.
