Well Done

I have had this hat for four or five years now. I wear it about once a week in my regular winter hat rotation. I work for a German Firm, so I get lots of remarks from them home office folks.

The hat is certainly serving its purpose. For the price, it is a great edition. The only think I wish is it was available in a softer finish, and a brush was available in place of the feather.

Great looking hat, runs a little small

I bought this hat to wear for upcoming Oktoberfest festivals. The hat looks great, arrived quickly and was we'll packaged. It does run a little small. I ordered the XL and wear a 7.5 in a fitted baseball cap (59fifty). Since it is wool it stretches a little too, so hopefully it will "shape" better once I wear it to Oktoberfest.

Alpine Hat

Very well made hat. Loved everything about it...except the size. I'm normally 7 5/8 - 7 3/4, and the XL was too small. Hoping to stretch it a bit because the hat really is that nice.

I purchased this hat as an accessory to my Halloween costume and was expecting something fairly cheap for $40. This hat is legit. Amazingly good build for the low price and the fit was right on. Highly recommended for all of your beer drinking needs.

Good value

Overall it is a nice hat. Wore it hiking and to an Oktoberfest. The quality and construction is very good. Sizing is not at precise with S, M, L, XL. If your measured hat size is on the lower side of the size options I suggest ordering the optional hat sizer. I am a 7 1/4 which is on the lower side if the L size and the hat is a bit too loose. I also would prefer a brown leather hat band over the rope band but that is a minor detail and would not affect my purchase decision.

I bought this hat for an Oktoberfest and it was a huge hit. It arrived earlier than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. It looks very nice and fit as expected. Not what I expected

The hat looks good in the pictures, but in real life the stiffness is revealed and when putting on the head you can tell it would blow off in the lightest breeze. Reminds me of those cheap party hats that you used to be able to buy for special occasions. It's hard to describe with words, but as the old phrase about knowing what pornography is when I see it, applies here. It's not a ""genuine"" hat.

Fantastic hat to add to my collection

I just got this hat in the mail along with two other hats that I ordered. The quality is fantastic and it easily may be one of my favorite hats. Although I do enjoy a liner in my hats, not having one in this one takes nothing away from its look and comfort. It is a bit stiff but nothing some normal wear can't fix. I'll be wearing this one skiing down the slopes looking like I belong right in the alps.
