The panama straw hat has been treated with water and stain repellent treatment, so the hat will look new longer and is still both breathable and durable.

My husband was so happy with this gift!! It’s such a handsome hat. The straw is silky and so pretty…
Two things worry me. The straw has a few flaws. Very small but they seem loose ends that will get worse? The thread holding the band shows in a couple places. I don’t think the quality of the hatband matches the quality of the hat but this is our first so maybe it’s exactly the band for this style? I have taken photos of the areas I mentioned. I’ll see if I can attach them. If not I’ll try on your website.

I love this hat and I’m not even a hat wearer

I love this hat and I’m not even a hat wearer. I was recently on a trip and happened to stop into a hat shop and tried on a Panama hat. It looked and felt great but it was outrageously expensive. I found you online and your prices were much more reasonable. So I bit the bullet and bought your hat. It’s just perfect.

New Hat + Old Band = 5 Stars

I am a returning customer who wanted to replace an aging summer weight hat with a similar hat. The MJ Panama Straw Outback Hat was just the right choice. I did have one issue, and I mean only one, and that was the hat band. For me, that was an easy fix as my old hat's band, made with finished leather strips that were braided and cinched in with a short length of rawhide, was easily substituted for the boring suede band. A few slivers of double-sided tape made the install super quick. Otherwise, I'd buy this hat time and time again as it is a good fit, comfortable, provides important protection from the sun's rays and offers great style. I don't leave home without it.
