Pinnacle Beaver Fur Felt Fedora Hat

I'm not going to ask whose beaver it came from.

I purchased the hat in 'caribou' (grey) on sale and, not having had a Stetson since I was a kid in Alberta, was very pleased with the quality of the felt, construction and fit. It is my second purchase from Village Hat Shop and once again the service was first class, with the product arriving on time and well-packed. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

I own a few Borsalino’s and this Stetson is neck and neck with style, finish and fit. The only reason it isn’t passing the others is the box. Nice but could be better. This is truly a beautifully made USA hat !!! The quality is soft, supple yet holds a beautiful shape. Size is very accurate, I wear a 7-1/2 (60-61 depending on designer) and Stetson is always very consistent which puts them in-front of many European designers yet again. Cheers!

This is the best quality, best value hat I've invested in. It was purchased as a 70th birthday gift from my wife after looking at top-end suppliers in Santa Fe and one north of Phoenix. Same quality as the best hats they carried, but at a much better price. No regrets!

I plan to purchasing the stetson Whippet fur felt fedora in tawny before winters end to complete my collection.

I have my Pinnacle on right now as I'm typing. IIt makes me feel like Jimmy Olsen ion the old Superman Comic. Never had such as wonderful hat, except my 35 yr old Royal Stetson

I have a Roadster and a Temple, so, I bought the Pinnacle. It is wonderful! It ran a little bit big but that's not much of a problem. The quality is perfect. I could not be more pleased

As many have written, this fedora exudes an impressive level of craftsmanship.

The beaver felt is so smooth and soft to the touch, yet the brim firmly snaps into place. The inner lining is well tailored and the leather band is comfortably stitched. Some hat band stitching can irritate, but not this one.

The black on black combination is visually stunning!

Just received my Stetson Pinnacle Beaver Fur Fedora today. Wow, what a beautiful hat. Perfect size, perfect finish, crisp snap brim. Just perfect in every way. I ordered the Sage Green and it is exactly what I'd hoped for. A subtle grey/green that will go with almost anything. Can't wait to wear this out on the town.

This is amazing and I absolutely love it! Got it as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend and I am blown away by its beauty and quality. This is fedora is awesome!

Received my pinnacle and wore it the next day. Exterior looks great and fits perfectly. My "little disappointment " is the lining and sweat band. There appears to be too much material in the lining and the Stetson seal isn't straight. The sweat ban doesn't fit tightly to the hat and has four folds or creases in it, For a $300 hat I was expecting a higher quality finish inside. I doubt Stetson would be proud. Otherwise, I really like the hat. For this reason i rate it 4 stars.

Very nice hat, but the interior is not as shown on the site. Mine came all black lining not the very nice gold as pictured. Still a very nice hat though. I won't send it back for that. Just a little disappointed it wasn't as shown.

Stetson makes great hats. I have quite a few of them, both Western and "City", but the Pinnacle really is the top of the heap. The quality of the felt is beyond compare- you can tell it is a "lifetime" investment. Great service, shipping, and pricing from Village Hat Shop!

I bought both a Stetson Temple Fir Fedora & a Stetson Pinnacle Beaver Fir Fedora. Both were perfect fit & both were of excellent quality. The Temple Fedora was a Mink Color & the Pinnacle was a Caribou Color.Love both of them & I get a great many compliments no matter which I wear. Both go with jeans or any casual pants I wear. Received today this hat , my 3rd hat from HVS , again and again as I expected , material quality great A1, looks fantastic and color exactly as I wanted and packing is good. Can not say more than what I said when I wrote my review for my other hat I bought from HVS (Benchley beaver fedora hat) 2 weeks ago , that this place will be my one and only place to buy hats in the future after trying many other sources , great job HVS is doing and will recommend to all my friends God bless

I have several of the Stetson styles of the fur felt fedoras. I've been hesitant about getting a beaver hat as I thought how could this be any better than the less expensive ones. I also have a couple of the other makers fedoras. I made the jump and have been really surprise how well this fits and feels over the others. I'm not wowed by fur, as honestly there's really not a great difference in actual tactile feel to me. But when you put it on, there's quite a difference in the feel. Comfortable is one word for me. I wish I had purchased this one first. I wouldn't have thought the covering of the hat would make that much difference, but this one did. Maybe the person who made this one was having a great day. It's the only Pinnacle hat that I have so that may have influence on the design feel. It's now my favorite hat.

I recently purchased two Pinnacle fedoras and a couple of hat sizer inserts. Village Hat people are friendly and nice. Their products are superlative. Next time I am in their town I plan on stopping in. I would (and probably will) purchase from them again.

This Pinnacle in the Caribou color for me sadly seems to be a let down compared to the Black Pinnacle I bought earlier. The fur felt in this color somehow seems not a the same calibre as the Black. I was expecting the very same stiff and rigid feature the Black Pinnacle has, this is different with the Caribou Pinnacle. The feel of the fur felt seems ordinary very ""Floppy"" the brim actually flaps in a slight breeze which makes me feel that the fur felt has the texture of just one of my other hats which cost me much less money than the Pinnacle. I have no complaints towards Village Hats whatsoever, they are excellent in customer service, their staff were very helpful in resolving this issue that I have with this hat. I will follow through my enquiry with Stetson who should give some clarity to this issue. Who knows, it might be a different manufacturing process Stetson are using, so at this point I hope not to put folk off buying this hat in the Caribou color other that to observe a difference in what I have experienced. I just wish I could just visit the Village Hat store in person, unfortunately I live in the UK. Having said all this, I will still to shop with Village Hats regardless...

My husband had a lovely hat that he purchased in Germany. After losing that hat, he figured he'd never find anything comparable. After months of searching, I found this hat. He loved it and I was delighted to have found a quality hat here in the states. It's a very classy and well worth the cost.

I have to say that I was quite anxious in waiting for the delivery of this hat from Stetson. I had read all the reviews about this hat and I have to say it is FANTASTIC ! the quality is something else! It has made my day, the fit is spot on the look feel and even the scent of this hat has made it worth while me ordering it from Village Hats! I am hoping now to have another in the Caribou color as soon as my size becomes available as the hat I received is the black color. For me, the fact I am living in the UK makes me feel that having bought this hat from Village Hats USA I have something which I could call exclusive. I personally think that Stetson make the best hats in the world, I'm very much now hooked on this great brand. I hope anyone reading my review will have a informed buying decision that there will be no regrets whatsoever!

... Just received my black Stetson Pinnacle Fedora. As soon as I opened the box and saw the brim and inner lining I knew this was truly a ""top of the line"" hat. The fit (7 1/2) is perfect and the look and feel of the genuine beaver fur felt is sublime. The thicker felt lets the brim ""snap"" perfectly into shape as you wish. Although the hat was advertised to come with just the Stetson woven label, mine came with a nice round medallion pin of the Stetson crest (matching the inner liner) with a nice antiqued silver finish. Also, it does have the stylish feather tucked in the grosgrain ribbon. The inner satin lining is gorgeous... a work of art. It is 2 tone satin (taupe sides with a darker top) with the Stetson crest in gold leaf with full color accents in the shield portion. Also, a nice 2 tone braid borders the top and side liners. The Pinnacle is expensive.... but you can understand the price when you see and feel the quality. Bottom line..... This hat is way cool !!!!

I've come to expect the finest quality from Stetson and the Pinnacle delivers. Weather stepping out in charcoal trousers with a black cashmere sport coat or wearing a three piece suit, this dress hat is the perfect finishing touch, excellent.

A beautiful hat, looks great with anything. One can feel comfortable wearing this hat on any occasion.The fit is remarkable! If someone offered me to refund my money doubled I'd have to decline.

I own a Borsalino Crushable Fedora and a Lock Fedora, and this Stetson is the best quality hat I own. As it is black, it is a bit more formal than the other two. The first time I wore it I had a car full of teenagers roll down the window of their car to yell ""Nice hat"". I have received compliments whenever I have worn it, which is not the case with the other two fedoras. It is really is special looking and commands respect.I have worn it both in the rain (light) and the snow with no ill effects. I just hung it up on its peg, let it dry overnight, and then brushed it. The back sheen came back nicely. The size is right on (60). The beaver felt is the difference. I also own my great grandfather's black beaver felt Stetson which he wore everyday 100 years ago. I expect this new one will last at least as long.

I received this hat about two weeks ago, and have worn it nearly every day since. The quality of the felt is very good, the looks are exceptionally stylish, and the fit is very comfortable. I have more expensive Stetsons, and while they are more luxurious, I wait for special occasions to wear them. This is a nice dress fedora that looks great at almost any occasion. I will wear it often.

I have many Stetson fur felt hats. This is a VERY nice hat. In fact, I think I am spoiled now. I don't even want to wear my other hats now!! Unfortunately, it IS pricey, but ... WOW! Stetson does it again!

I purchased this hat as a gift for my husband and he has not left the house without it since. He requested the gift because of it's style and warmth and is completely happy with it. This hat is beautiful, a piece of craftsmanship that will plain make you feel good just having it. It looks great, and more importantly, it feels right, righter than you think a hat can feel, on your head and in your hand. I wear a hat every day, just about all day. I own two -- summer weather and cool, wet weather -- and I don't baby them. They'll get tossed on the back seat and slide onto the floorboards to roll around there, they'll get knocked into the dirt and blown across the yard. This hat, the Stetson Pinnacle Fedora, two years later, could sit on the store shelf almost indistinguishable from the new ones. The patina it will develop will just make it more distinguished.Beaver fur like this can take the weather. A freak mud-rain peppered my fedora with brown grunge, but a few careful minutes with a brush left it like new, except the band which has almost imperceptible tiny waterspots. If it needs heavy reblocking or cleaning, it can take seven or eight, done professionally, without showing wear, and beyond that it won't show much. I don't fear the day I drop this hat in a parking lot puddle, nor the day I sit on it.Your great-grandchild will inherit this hat, and leave it in his or her will.

I HAVE BOUGHT AND WORN MANY FEDORAS FROM BORSALINO'S TO BAILEYS. THE STETSON PINNACLE IS BY FAR THE BEST HAT I HAVE EVER OWNED AND WORN. MORE PEOPLE SAY TO ME WOW WHAT A GREAT HAT. I REALLY ENJOY WEARING IT, I LIKE THE LARGE BRIM AND FEEL OF THE HAT. I WILL BE BUYING MORE WHEN YOU GET MORE COLORS.

A black-on-black fedora is a great look for all dressy occasions. The Pinnacle is truly one of the best hats I've seen and the finest that I own. The 100% beaver fur felt is soft, silky, and pliable. The styling is classic and dignified making this hat a delight to wear. I'd also like to add that the staff at the Village Hat Shop answered my questions fully and provided outstanding personal service. They helped to remove any doubt involved with ordering a hat over the web.

I own an antique automobile from the 40s and this is the perfect, classic hat to wear when driving it. I also have a violin case on the back seat! I appreciate the attention to detail in construction and the craftsmanship. And it fits and looks great!
