Good hat.

Second time I've purchased this hat--first one still going strong, but is now on yard work status. Solid construction. Amused that the Stetson brand makes so much of their proud American heritage only to discover that the hat is manufactured in Sri Lanka. The hat is very stiff and requires breaking-in. I recommend putting it in a lingerie bag and washing it two or three times with bath towels in order to "beat it up" a bit. But beware!!!!; the lining inside the sweatband is some sort of paper-like substance that comes apart in machine washing. You may have to clean off the disintegrated bits. AIR DRY!!! Then roll it up backwards and forwards several times to break the stiffness. Good hat!
