Horrible experience with Village Hat Shop

Never again. Be warned. I just got off the phone with Village Hat Shop regarding a hat that was way larger than an XL, despite being sold as a 7 1/2 XL. The interior of the hat is 26 inches, making it an XXXL. It's comically large.

The hat's tags show XL. This is clearly a manufacturer issue. They said it is not their problem as they are just posting the sizing information they get from the manufacturer. It appears they never bothered to measure the actual product they are selling.

Since I followed all sizing guidance and the site and product description page, I asked Village Hat Shop to pay for a shipping return label. They would not honor this simple request, for a problem they created, which is incredibly petty. Instead of returning the hat at my cost, I'll be seeking a chargeback on my credit card.
