Another happy Stetson Open Road owner!

I've been wanting a genuine Stetson Open Road for many years.

When I decided to go for it I was happy to find out that Village Hat Shop had the colour I wanted, in my size, in stock.

It came really quickly, faster than I expected. The hat is gorgeous.

Great Quality Hat

Great, quality made Stetson hat. These have been around since about 1937. I purchased one and I have to be honest, it did not look good on tall people. I am 6'4" and they just didn't look good on me. I am a thin person but my wife said I looked like a stick with an eraser on top (pencil like, lol). If you are two to three inches shorter than six feet tall, an Open Road will look much nicer on you. I am being honest, that's all.

Good hat. Mis-information on sizing.

I am giving the hat 5 stars. However, the website states this hat runs big. I order by the Village Hat Shop recommendation. I wear a Stetson 7 1/8 but ordered a 7 by the website directions. The hat received, a 7, is too small. This is quite disappointing. Never had this issue with Village Hat Shop with the other hats ordered. Now an exchange is necessary when it should not be.

Beautiful Open Road

I had been wanting a new Open Road, but in the Royale Deluxe. My size on the Stetson website in Caribou wasn’t available at the time and I found it on the Village website. There was a sizing question but after speaking with a very nice customer rep. I went ahead and ordered it. Delivery was quick and my new hat is beautiful. Now that the weather in Texas is cooling off, I’m looking forward to many days of use.
