Starting in the 19th century acorn hat bands/cords (aka "campaign cords") were traditionally worn by cavalry and other military units to denote unit and rank. Dress your favorite western or campaign hat according to rank or simply whichever color suits you best.

Military Branch Acorns:

• Gold Metallic - General Officer
• Silver Metallic - Warrant Officer (CW4 - CW5)
• Yellow - Cavalry (Enlisted)

Instructions for Use:

1. Place hat band around crown.
2. Tighten hat band by pulling upon the acorn ends, away from one another.
3. Re-position the hat band with center acorn at front of the crown.
