British Wolseley Pith Helmet

This pith helmet style is reminiscent of a classic fireman's helmet. The helmet was named after M/Gen. Sir Garnet Wolseley, who developed the original pattern. We have seen many variations on the name...Wolsey, Wolesley, etc., but the correct spelling is Wolseley. Through the years there have been many minor variations to this style.

Please Note: This pith helmet can be immersed in water, whereby the wearer stays cool during use on hot summer days. When wet the hat may become a bit softer, but then dries to its original state. Please submerge the outside of the helmet carefully, without allowing water to spill into the interior of the helmet.
