There is something new and exciting under the sun. A handwoven straw hat that loves water. Created by industrial designer Stefan Schinzinger to answer the need for a straw hat that's water friendly. Made from virtually indestructible, handwoven polypropolyene Techstraw, the Riverz Delta TechStraw Fedora Hat, featuring a c-crown, has the look of a natural handwoven straw. It's light, breathable and water-resistant. It floats and will maintain it's shape and stay light and functional when wet—just shake to dry. Hand wash in soapy water and wear another day.
The Riverz Delta TechStraw Fedora Hat features a wide brim that creates a tent of shade, a crown that is ventilated for those 110° days, a super-wicking, hypo-allergenic COOLMAX® elastic sweatband, a stow away chincord and a webbing band with a cam lock buckle to adjust size. Riverz hats can easily be worn comfortably all day long in any conditions. They are dream hats for fishing, watersports, hiking, camping and travel.

So far so good, water doesn't affect it and very comfortable
LOVE THE LOOK OF THE HAT IN THE PHOTOS. TURNED DOWN FRONT BRIM AND TURNED UP IN THE BACK. MY HAT ARRIVED WITH A FLAT BRIM AND AS MUCH AS I TRY I CAN'T CHANGE IT.
Been looking at these for a long time, but the price seemed a little high. I finally took the plunge after years of buying those cheap straw lifeguard hats from our local hardware store. I wanted a hat that would last and this looks like it'll outlast me. Well made with some excellent features. I had the hat on less than an hour and someone siad, "Nice hat." I'm sold. BTW: Excellent shipping, on time and well packed.
