Dobbs decided it was time for the homburg to relax and take a well earned vacation from it's typical winter body with the El Dorado Florentine Milan Straw Homburg Hat. The El Dorado homburg has the earmark center dent crown and curled brim but is made of 100% florentine milan straw that has been crafted in a tight braid which gives this homburg a light and airy feel while still being well-structured. Also features a grosgrain ribbon hat band, a cowhide leather sweatband and comes unlined.

Unique and sturdy hat

I got this for a jazz-age lawn party, and didn’t want to get the standard newsboy cap or boater. It’s sturdy and well crafted. It really stood out from everyone else’s hat. Probably wouldn’t wear it casually, but I do plan on going to another party like this, so worth it for that.

Great, but...

It's a great black straw Homburg, but I wanted to replace the black band with a white one and found the black band was glued on so I had to place the white band over the black one losing a seamless look.
