I live in the desert and wear it to work outside. I like it...keeps my head cool. It keeps the sun out of my eyes but I still need to wear sunblock on my neck and face. I like it though....much better than a baseball cap for working in the sun.
I purchased this hat for working out in New Mexico. My house is in the desert. The hat keeps the sun off my face and neck, and breathes well to keep me cool. It doesn't absorb sweat or smell like other hats do. I am purchasing a second to alternate so they last longer. Thr only issue is our strong winds sonetimes take the hat clean off my head...but thats just fun.
