Nice hat
This is more a comment regarding the Village Hat Shop. I received the Hooper Toyo as a gift last Christmas. I like the hat but my friend obviously has no idea how big my head is. The hat is 2 sizes too small. When I went to set up an exchange for the hat I couldn't find the receipt. I thought it got thrown away with the wrapping paper. Well, I found it recently buried in a box. I realized it was way past the return policy but I thought I'd ask. I was told no, it had to be within 30 days. I get it. You don't want to return items that have been out of inventory for a long time. But, I didn't want to return the hat, I wanted to exchange the hat. I was thinking about buying an Open Road 6X, a $300+ hat. This would be an upsell for sure. I owned a shoe store for 7 years. We had a strict return policy as well but, if someone returned a pair of shoes, unworn and with a receipt we usually made an exception. If they wanted to buy something more expensive, we definitely made an exception. I'll hold onto the hat until I find someone to give it to. Someone will end up enjoying it. It's just a lost opportunity for the Village Hat Shop to make $200 more.
A gorgeous fedora porkpie hat! Excellent quality!
