My wife gifted me with a Dobbs Jet in Savoy (Navy blue) in NOV 2005. I've kept it boxed and wear it every year starting in late Fall and in the Winter. It's in perfect shape and I always get compliments on it. I was born in '53 and saw fedoras ever since I was a kid. Plus, my grandfather was a "haberdasher". Great style, fine hat.

The Dobbs jet fedora hat I purchased From the village hat shop is supposed to be of the highest quality, the Golden coach series of Dobbs hats. This hat arrived at my home in a plain cardboard box with the shipping label on it, after opening it I found this is the only box, It did not have the normal Dobbs hat box, that was the first red flag, after pulling the the hat out of the box I found that the leather headband is no longer leather but some type of imitation material, l'm also very disappointed with the quality of this hat. I contacted Village hat shop and they assured me they were a certified dealer of Dobbs hats , the hat looks like an imposter compared to my other Dobbs hats that l own, I don't know where the quality was lost, whether it is an imposter or the quality and care of the manufacturing over the years has diminished to this point, but I would not recommend purchasing this hat, very disappointed!
