What an excellent purchase! The packing it came in alone was worthy of mention. It was so well protected. I read all reviews first. Someone said it was too little girl. Well that’s because it had a generous black fabric bow. I minimized it by wrapping it all the way around the brim and tucking. Nice wide brim, crown just right, not too high. Quality exceptional at any price, yet very affordable!

It's exactly as described! Love the bow & hat! The bow is glued to the straw hat. I thought the brim would be flat but it actually curves down a bit to cover the sun. The overall hat is not a perfect round. It's a very, very slight oval & fits perfectly on my head. Love the packaging, came in a big box so the hat doesn't damage.

What a beautiful hat! It's a soft wheat color with a very wide back-tied black grosgrain bow that drapes softly down the back. The inner rim is a well-sewn elasticized cloth strip that keeps hat where I place it without flattening my hair. The 4-1/2 inch brim is face flattering. I bought it to wear to Afternoon Tea, but will also wear it for sun protection. The straw is dense and will shade my face and protect my hair from the sun. Statement it makes? I'm a classy, pretty woman with style-my hubbie smiled as soon as I put it on! Arrived well packaged-LOVE this hat, and so does everybody else-received lots of compliments!

I love the looks of this hat. I like to buy hats with elastic sweat bands because they fit and stay on better. But this one the elastic is very loose, almost like it is stretched out. Going to keep it though.
