The hat is beautiful. The sizing is off. I usually wear 7 3/8 or 58-59. In this size chart, I usually wear, like I have always done from all the hats from Village Hat Shop, a size "L," but this hat wears way too small. It actually feels like a size "M." I even tried to stretch it with my wooden hat stretcher, just to make it easier on my head. My recommendation; unless this hat was wrongly tagged as "L," order a size up.
