Great hat, great price, great service

In the past I have been pleased with the hats I bought from you. This year the hat a chose arrived in good condition but the box was heavily damaged. As I said the hat was not damaged. However the hat is a straw hat. Unfortunately it is very thick material and quite heavy. It does not allow for air flow making it very hot while working in a hay field. To return it along with finding a box that would protect it. The shipping about $25. To get it here. $25. Back the replacement hat shipping another $25. The original hat was just short of $100. And the replacement about $125.

The Rushmore is a palm straw hat, which makes it heavier but definitely not hotter. It’s easy to shape with water instead of steam and this summer, I find myself grabbing it over other hats. I put a sweatband in mine to prevent any sweat stains. For me, it was slightly big but the sweatband made it perfect. As far as style, it might be just shy of a more formal suit that a Panama would still fit into. So, if you’re looking for something more formal than daily wear, consider a finer weave like the Aficionado or a Panama.
