These are fantastic hats! I’ve gotten rid of most of my other hats because this hat fits so many bills (sorry). Style: between a functional sun hat and fedora. Goes with everything, elevates your outfit. Sun Protection: not enough for a prolonged excursion in the desert, but plenty for regular wear about town. Value: excellent price for a well made hat. Comfort: so, so close to being perfect. The terry pad that rests on your forehead prevents rubbing or marks on the skin while absorbing any sweat. The weight is light enough to be comfortable, but feels substantial. The adjustable Velcro could be the finishing touch, but doesn’t allow for enough tightening for those of us with a smaller head (or thinner hair). As a result, the hat tends to sit on my ears and can slip down a bit. I don’t find this too bothersome, but does force me to subtract a star. Don’t hesitate to buy this hat ( I have all three colors).

OMG! Im so excited to have found this hat. I had this same hat for over 15 years and at one point I had to sew my old hat back together because it was starting to finally show its age. Fast foward to last Mother's Day, I went out with the in-laws to a new restaurant and accidentally left it behind and it was never seen again. I was devastated. As this was my all time favorite hat and it was gone forever.... that is until a search through many websites for Cappelli's hat (and even ended up at a scam site too) and found the Village.

I don't have the smallest head so it's hard to find a hat that fits so well. Although this one is trimmed a bit differently, it is still as beautiful and comfortable as my old hat was. Thank you to the other reviewers brave enough to post their own pictures otherwise I wouldn't have recognized my old friend.
