Most know this replica hat as that worn by the officers of the London Metropolitan Police Force, also known as "bobbies". It is hand made of the same core material as our pith helmets. Unfortunately, we do not have the replica badges for this helmet, but various badge options are usually available at Ebay. This is a great hat for theatrical productions needing a Bobby Helmet. Police paraphanalia collectors also like this facsimile item.

Nice reproduction

I was looking for a British style bobby helmet to display a Hamilton Ontario Canada police hat badge from the early 1900's. This product was priced right and the quality is very good. A great value. The only thing missing is the Rose top ornamental piece on the top of the helmet. If there had been an option to purchase the helmet with the Rose top I would have chosen it.

Great helmets for theatre

I purchased 4 of these for a theatrical production and was extremely pleased. They are very well made and super easy to adjust to the wearer's head (fit up to a 24.5" head, but even he had to snug it in a bit). I only wish these came with the UK bobby cop insignia and crown as these are really hard to find anywhere else.
