Manufacturer Instructions for Use:

To Store Hat:

1. Lay the Wooden Hat Jack Stretcher on flat surface, labels up (wood forms are tapered).
2. Twist center handle to approximate hat size.
3. Place in hat, labels up, center handle parallel to crease in hat crown.
4. Twist center handle to achieve a snug fit - hat is ready for storage.
   ***Always rest hat on its crown, brim up.***

1. Repeat above steps.
2. Boil clean water using a teapot or pan with lid slightly ajar, then reduce heat to produce a steady flow of steam.
3. Holding Wooden Hat Jack Stretcher handle, direct steam evenly to outside of hat band area.
4. Twist handle to stretch hat to desired size while applying steam.
   ***Do NOT overstretch any hat - 2 hat sizes maximum (2 CM maximum): Example: 7 (56 cm) to 7 1/4 (58 cm)***
5. Allow hat to cool and dry 20-30 minutes before removing Hat Jack.
6. Repeat if hat shrinks until hat maintains desired size and fit.
